The provision of NESD consultant services is determined by the division’s Response to Intervention process; its focus on early intervention; and the intensity of student need. All support services are delivered in an educational context.
Counselling Consultant- provides counselling services to students who are experiencing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges that may impede success at school.
English as an Additional Language Consultant - provides direct and consultative service to teachers and students to maximize student learning.
Educational Psychologist- provides assessment and programming services for students with exceptional learning, emotional or behavioural needs.
Occupational Therapist- provides direct and consultative service relative to environmental modifications, adaptive equipment, and regulation strategies.
Outreach Worker – fosters student well-being, facilitates nutrition programming and functions as a liaison between school, home and community
Speech Language Pathologist- provides direct and consultative services in the areas of language, communication, and articulation.
