The Hudson Bay grades Pre-k to Six celebrated National Indigenous Peoples Day with various workshops such as Cree bingo, Jingle Dancing, Hoop Dancing, Birch Bark Biting, FNMI Games, Dressing Grandfather, imitation Moose Hair Tufting, Stick and Toss Game, and creating Worry Dolls.
Bradley Ironstar and his son began the day with an Honor Drum song and the Metis anthem was also shared.
Student leaders lead most of the sessions for all students! Great weather, great teachings, great fun for all!
