Aboriginal Storyteller

​Randy Morin will be making a visit to Star City School on Monday, February 13 at 10:00 am to share stories with students. Special thanks goes out to the Star City Wapiti Library for organizing and funding this presentation.  The public is welcome to attend this presentation, so please join us!

 

 Randy Morin (B.Ed., B.A., Storyteller) is a teacher/artist who is a member of the Big River First Nation, Treaty Six area. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Indigenous Studies from the First Nations University of Canada and a Bachelor of Education degree from the Indian Teacher Education Program at the U of S, and has a lifetime of traditional Plains Cree teachings and philosophies. He is a strong supporter of maintaining and teaching his Cree language and culture, and shares these teachings and knowledge in the classroom as a high school teacher of 4 years at E.D.Feehan High School and at Oskayak High School in Saskatoon, SK.
