Academic & Career Counseling
The
academic and career counselor assists with course and program selection,
timetables and scheduling, school adjustment, attendance issues and
study skills. The counselor also works with students regarding career or
vocational issues including career exploration and planning, resume
preparation, job interview skills and job search strategies and makes
available to them a wide range of educational and occupational
information. Students may also consult the counselor for information
about student orientation programs at colleges or universities, exchange
opportunities, and scholarships and bursaries. Make an appointment at
the guidance office to discuss course options and to plan your academic
life at L.P. Miller.
