EBS Program - Empower, Believe, and Strengthen

June 18, 2019

As our school works on part of our learning improvement plan to Feed All Four – Mind, Body, Emotions, and Spirit, we embarked on a journey to help our Grade Two students learn skills to cope with the daily stresses of life and to become more resilient children. A community-based committee joined our school Outreach program to create a program that is based on the Five Principles of Positive Programming for Children – Play, Participation, Friendship, Talking to Trusted Adults, and Mastery. The funding provided through this committee comes from the Dwayne Eberle Memorial Committee. Our school is very appreciative of the work of the program leaders: Susan Nickel, Josie Fitzpatrick, Tara Rudy, Janine Grassing, and Melissa Sisson. Families were invited to join in the EBS program this year, and there was a draw for a monthly family prize as well, which included fun games, treats, and toys to promote family play. IMG_2290.JPG
