Wednesday, May 13, 2020: Daily Learning Plan for Grade Two
Please be sure to contact your teacher on Remind if there are any questions.

1.   ELA –Writing Super Sentences (adding details to writing)
·         Draw the chart or use the words in the chart, to write 4 super sentences on a piece of paper/chalkboard/whiteboard. (Hint: choose the who or what first). The first one is done for you!
·         Suggestion: Use some facts you learned from the Raz Kids story Hummingbirds and write super sentences about these interesting birds.

2.Word Skills: Print your words neatly, onto the correct page in your Personal Dictionary (sent home with school supplies).

Long List (long "o"): shadow, bowl, throw, toast, goal, soap, cold, folded, joke, remote (Bonus words: tomorrow, uploading, hopeless)

Short List (consonant blends with "r"): frog, drip, brat, print, crib

1.     Reading: your goal is to read for at least 20 minutes each day (choose any story from your books at home, EPIC or Raz-Kids).

 

MATH

1. Math facts-continue to practice using your cards, you should be able to do these automatically.

2. Workbook-continue to work on the next two pages (wherever you are in the workbook).
