   today is wednesday, april 22, 2020. i am writing a letter to my cousin kate  i will send it in the mail? kate lives in saskatoon  i am putting a coupon for a free dairy queen ice cream cone in the envelope too  dad and i will take it to the post office on friday to be mailed?

ELAWord Skills: Practice spelling “bossy r” words and/or “ck” words

Task: Print the word list in alphabetical order (abc — first letter)

Long List (bossy “r”): smart, winter, sister, girl, hurt, morning, turtle, forest, artist, first

(bonus words: thirsty, sanitizer, janitor)

Short List (ck): duck, sock, kick, truck, lock


Card Game: 25 — Remove face cards. Split the deck equally. Each player turns over a card and adds it to the previous card. You keep adding cards until you reach 25. if a person’s card would go over 25, they need to subtract the number. When someone hits 25, they win.

Math facts-continue to create your own flashcards for addition and subtraction facts for 17 and 18. (See Thursday, April 9 plan for more details on how to construct these cards).
