Greetings to North East School Division Families and Staff,

We hope this message finds everyone safe. The North East School Division continues to provide safe in-school learning for students and is working to keep our schools free from the spread of Covid-19. 

Our students are excited to go to school every day and our families have provided the encouragement and support necessary for a positive educational experience. The success we have had to date is a direct result of the hard work of our staff who commit to safe and healthy schools and school bus environments from early morning to the end of each school day.  We recognize that the additional cleaning routines, mask rules, block schedules and limitations on staff and student movement have made an already complex job even more challenging for schools and student services. 

We are very happy that the North East School Division is able to continue with in-person learning without interruption.  To date we have had a small number of positive cases in either staff or students with minimal impact on our school operations and learning.  Compared to the rest of the province this is remarkable and demonstrates the commitment of our parents and caregivers, students, staff and communities to do what is necessary to keep our schools safe for in-person learning.  Thank you!
